The design of the Walt Tasting Room at Oxbow in Napa was inspired by the client requestinga wine tasting counter like one she had never seen before.   Since it is Walt Wines, I took theangles of the “W” to inspire the facets on the face of the counter.  The facets of the bar,pendants and the existing ceiling and beams of the 1890’s building, all combine to the “W”shape.  The color palette of deep blue and gold/yellow were derived from the wine label andused throughout the interiors.
