Following the client's wish to develop a color scheme around a beloved landscape painting for a guest bedroom, the designer accomplishes this by bringing in the soft gold and pale greens from the painting. Textures play a valuable role with the use of silk and silk velvet for the bed coverings and drapery. The headboard is wrapped in subtle suede to counter-play the silk fabrics. The room casts a soft glow, reflecting the outside landscape.
